More Women Needed to Break Congress Gridlock, says Swanee Hunt

More women in Congress break gridlock

Ambassador Swanee Hunt, who attended the One Earth Future Forum this fall, explains in an article on the news site RealAspen that while a record number of women will now be serving in Congress after the recent midterm elections, it still falls short of what's needed to break political gridlock. Hunt, who is Chair of the Political Parity project, maintains that in general, more women in positions of political power will lead to an improved global security.
